1. Dry treatment

Generally speaking, the drying temperature can be controlled at about 60-80 ° C, and the drying time is 2-4 hours. However, for some temperature-sensitive masterbatches, it is necessary to appropriately reduce the drying temperature and extend the drying time to ensure that the performance of the masterbatch is not affected while removing water.

2. Compatibility test

Before large-scale use of polypropylene masterbatches, it is best to perform compatibility tests. Because different polypropylene raw materials and color masterbatches may have compatibility problems. For example, a small amount of polypropylene raw material and color masterbatch can be taken, mixed in accordance with a certain proportion, and tested by small spinning equipment or injection molding equipment. The color uniformity and mechanical properties of polypropylene products were observed.
